Stripey

Ahh; so these aren't the most refined stripes I've ever done, but the were fun to wear, although after a day I added some more colour over half of the white on the pinky finger. Not massively impressed with the outcome, but I got to use the glow in the dark polish I got just before Halloween so I was a happy bunny. I only have a really crappy bottle shot of the bottle in the dark though rather than my nails :(

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: La Femme - Dusky Pink (made my own name up for it :P)
Black & White Acrylic Paint
Deborah - Sunset Cocktail
Rubies - Glow In The Dark Nail Polish
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat
Just because I love this blue toned pink. Nom
You can sort of see a stripe of the glow in the dark where my pinky is at the top right corner of the bottle. But I couldn't get a good shot of my nails cause I had to close the curtains and squish into a cupboard to get it dark enough to glow xD

Steph's Vegas Inspired Nails

I did these a few weeks ago, inspired by a photo I seen on google while I was looking for vegas themed nails and stuff, but now I can't find the image ;(

I'm still not really gettting any better and taking photos of other peoples nails, but I think I have some ideas for the next time I do her nails.

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Sally Hansen - White On
I then placed small strips of tape, and painted over them with BYS - Black Satin
For rounding off corners and lettering I used Red & Black acyrilic paint
The little red gem was from a Broadway pack of gems my friend Vicki got me :]
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: BYS - Black Satin
Nail Studs: 2mm Silver Nail Heads
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat
I apparently can't draw clubs for the life of me :P Happy Bonfire/Guy Fawkes Night!

My Halloween Nails & My Old Lady Zombie Costume :]

Just a quick post, as I'm dying and all I want to do is get into bed and watch films with some ice cream ^_^ Excuse the tip wear, too many layers of polish and paint, and not enough drying time.

What I Used:
Base Coat: Total Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: Models Own - Nude Beige (1 coat)
Acrylic Paints: Crimson Red, Black, Burnt Sienna
Polishes: Barry M - Raspberry & George - Matte Pink
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat
I used a dry brush for these, and basically stippled and swirled layers of colours on until I was happy with the icky look of these.

My costume from last night:

Foundation, then I made myself look old with a matte brown eyeshadow (the one I usually use for my eyebrows xD) a matte white to highlight and bronzer, and white face paint for the eyebrows
Disgusting Tooth Stain Lots Of Fake Blood, Bruising Makeup Stack, Liquid Latex
3 Large Velcro Rollers, And Two Victory Rolls On Each Side & White Colour Spray
Debating dressing up again tomorrow night but I'm really not sure I can be fussed with all of that again, though I do looooove dressing up xD

Hope everyone has had a good Halloweeny weekend

Mummy Nails

I feel like I have been lacking in the Halloween nails department, usually I jump right on it as soon as it's October but for some reason this year I haven't. I've changed my mind about my costume this year though so I'll have more free time to do my nails, rather than making a bag from scratch, or dyeing a wig with sharpies... So hopefully more Halloween goodness to come :]

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - White On
Black Nail Art Pen
White & Black Acrylic Paint (Eyes)
Rimmel - Pop! (Eyes)
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat
I really could've done with another two topcoats, my nail art pens are starting to die and always leave a chunky texture.

Coral Flower Pick 'n' Mix

I'm enjoying the fact the sun has decided to come back out a little here and there, after a rather miserable looking week. So I felt like wearing some brighter colours. I was feeling a tad more creative than recently so I decided to go for a Pick 'N' Mix type Mani :]

Excuse the tip wear!

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Natural Collection - Antique Coral
Stamp Colour: Rimmel White

Index Finger: Plate M64

Middle Finger: Flowers Painted With Acrylic Paint
Gold Dots: H&M - Wa Wa Woom

Ring Finger: Rimmel French Colour For Half Moon
Pearls: Bought From The Pound Shop
Plate: BM16

Little Finger: Lines Drawn With White Paint
Glitter: Nail Art Pen - Ebay

I think by the time I got around to the little finger I'd almost ran out of ideas.

Jammie Dodger Nails

As soon as I seen this plate when my new Bundle Monster arrived I instantly thought Jammie Dodgers. I'm really not sure why. But I've been wanting to try it ever since. Originally I saw the old school Jammie Dodgers, without the heart centres. However hearts are cute ^_^

I'm not convinced they look like Jammie Dodgers still, but it was a nice mani to wear :]

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - White On
Stamp Colour: Rimmel - Milk Chocolate
Plate: BM203
Hearts: Red Acrylic Paint
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

Strawberries

This is actually my second attempt at Strawberry nails - the first was with polish though, not acrylic, and paints are just so much easier to work with when you're first starting off. Well for me they are.

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: 17 Mini - Unknown Red
Acrylic Paint: - Wilko - Viridian & Lemon Yellow
Top coat: Rimmel - 10 Day Wear

Waffle Nails

Recently I've been trying to get into more free-hand stamp free designs, but i'm a bit out of touch when it comes to the skills department.

So I decided to start small; and not very detailed just to get used to it again. So I decided to go for a drip design, or strawberry nails. So I bought some acrylic paints - my nail art pens aren't amazing.

I wasn't going to use a stamp aswell, but my recent purchase of a couple of browns gave me a tasty idea!!

Base: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Rimmel 10 day wear - Milk Chocolate
Plate: M57
Stamp Colour: W7 - Suede
Paint: Wilkinsons - Burnt Umber
