Interview Nails, Barry M Vanilla & White Stamping

Hi all,

Yay Wednesday. I say yay as It's a four day week for me, with a four day weekend, followed by another short week, and yet another long weekend! Thank eff for Bank Holidays!

I'm still working through a backlog of manicures I've done over the last four months, and today is the turn of the nails I wore for my interview at the end of January. Interviews are one of those lovely times I do a nude or peach base with subtle stamping. This isn't because I don't like the combo, but I'm such a fan of bold manis. Oddly enough as I already knew the people I was being interviewed by, and they both love nail art themselves (now!) I still chose to do a nude to go with my outfit.

On to the pics:
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Barry M - Vanilla
Glitter: Nails Inc - Electric Lane
Stamping Colour: Konad Special White
Image Plate: Bundle Monster BM419
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails

Everytime I look at this particular stamp all I want to do is stamp it in a blue over white and have china nails!

Please excuse the dry hands, Winter was taking it's toll on me! Hope you've all had a good week so far :]

Interview Nails - French Tip with Bundle Monster BM 10

Hey guys, happy Thursday!

Today's nails are a re-do of what I wore back in July for my interview. Originally I used Rimmel - French Rose and Konad White, but looking back at pictures last week I thought they were crap, so I decided to do it again, with one of my new favourite sheer polishes.

Essie - Muchi, Muchi is the kind of sheer pink polish I've always wanted. Quite sheer, but opaque in a couple of coats, and squishy looking. For some reason it seems more pink in all the swatches I've seen, but that could be my photos, and I did do thin coats.

So yeah; onto the mani:
Base Coat: La Femme
Base Colour: Essie - Muchi, Muchi
Stamp Colour: Konad - Special White
Image Plate: Bundle Monster BM 10
Top Coat: Rimmel 60 Seconds - Clear

Two coats of Muchi, Muchi, bottom picture is in direct sunlight. I think three coats would have it looking a little more pink.

More Interview Nails

Another boring set of interview nails. These looked much better in real life, as the shimmer in Peach Smoothie popped against the Chrome. But in pictures you can hardly see the shimmer.

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: Revlon - Peach Smoothie
Stamping Colour: NYC - Foiled Rotten
Image Plate: Konad M85
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

Like I said, in person these looked much better. And I still love the scent of Peach smoothie. Nomnom.

Happy Mondayyyyy :]

Interview Nails Pt 2 - Models Own Nude Beige & Konad M57

Because I'm not yet ready to get into the mode of blogging and organising; here's some photos of some more recent interview nails, really boring, but fun for the day. And mission accomplished with playing it safe for the interview.

These look much better on than in typical bottle photos, I just think from your own view point looking down, cuticle to tip, the perspective gives a better proportion to the tip design.

Ever since I got this plate, pretty much at the start of my stamping days I've wanted to do this design in white over a sheer or nude colour. On my thumbs I had the leopard and lace print design going diagonaly over.

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: Models Own - Nude Beige
Stamp Colour: Konad Special White

Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

I figured I'd write this up on the train on the way home so it's all ready and sorted so I can just chill when I'm in, but that only happened partially until I realised I had no free Wi-Fi and felt awkward not fully posting xD

Edinburgh was great, really really great ^_^ On the first night we caught up with our friend Aidan who's living back in Edinburgh (been about a year or so since we last seen him). He cooked us dinner and he didn't poison us! ( long story :P) and then went out on the town, to quite a few places I went when I first went to Edinburgh some years back. So that was fun, was feeling a little delicate on Valentine's day when we went to Edinburgh Dungeons, so uneven flooring, dim lights, and loud noises wasn't the best idea in the world, but later on Wagamama made everything better, mm ^_^

Anyhoo I'll stop rambling on! I want to watch the new episode of The Walking Dead & some How I Met Your Mother :D

All in all I had a great time, but I'm glad to be home and have a snuggle in bed watch The Walking Dead, and cuddle Cheese (as she's the only one who ventures on the bed). She huffed a little bit when we first got in, wanting picked up but pretending like she didn't. She then cabbaged on the bed loving getting her belly rubbed! My brother and his girlfriend are glad we're back so they don't get trampled on tonight by her, she loves padding and clawing when you're asleep, and also walking over your face and head until you let her under the covers... It's a good job she's so cute :P

Again with the rambling! I'm looking forward to catching up with the mahooosive amounts of posts I need to read tomorrow! Nighty! x
