Pink & Orange Vertical Gradient with Stamping

Hi all, happy Friday.

Today I have some nails I did something like last July maybe?  This was the first vertical gradient I have done, which while close up you can't really tell, from a distance you can. I started with a base of 2True - Mila, which is one of their salon shine polishes, and sponged with a mixture of Mila, and Jacava - Raspberry Bavarois, then stamped with Konad White with Bundle Monster Image BM208.

Zoya - Carey & Strawberry Stamping

Hi all.

Another Monday has rolled around! I am still mega behind on everything, but I have came to accept that I'm never going to be able to blog like I used to when I didn't work; and had no social life! Sad times, but imma just keep doing what I can :]

Today I'm showing you some stamping, and some swatches of my very very first Zoya. I was sent two lovely zoya polishes from Nail Care Club to review, and Carey is the first one I tried.

I was really impressed with the dry time on Carey, and opacity, but the formula was really thin so it didn't really feel smooth enough before stamping. First impressions of Zoya though - love the bottle, loved the cap, and I really loved the brush.
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Zoya - Carey
Stamp Colour: Jacava - Passion
Image Place: Cheeky CH42

I have to say I've already tried the other polish sent to me, Solange, and i'm totally in love with the matt glitter.

Hope you've all had a good weekend!

Nailtopia Nail Stickers

Hi all, happy Monday.

Today I'm showing you some gorgeous nail stickers that Nailtopia kindly sent me. She sent me three different styles of stickers, and my favourites are still to come.

These were really easy to use, and the gold really really pops. Click here to buy the nail stickers i'm showing today.

In this picture you can clearly see the ridge of the sticker, but to the human eye you can't tell at all. The texture of the gold parts looks like metal and they almost glitter.

Thats all from me today, I shall be back with some stamping soon :]

Jacava - Passion Swatches

Hi all, quick swatch/review today.

Jacava kindly sent me a four gorgeous polishes a couple of months back, these included Passion, Crimson Crush, Candy Floss & Raspberry Bavarois. All of which are gorgeous shades, with some being a little more sheer than the others.

Passion, which I'm showing you today is the most opaque of the bunch, closely followed by Raspberry Bavarois.

Below is two coats
Jacava - Passion

So as you can see two coats is perfect. The dry time on this is great, and as you can see it's so shiny. I've also tried stamping with this polish, and it's fantastic.

Nautical Mix Up - Double Stamp - We Stamp On Sundays

Hey all :]

Happy Tuesday woooo! Not really woo, but I've only got a four day week so i'm looking forward to that.

I almost feel like these shouldn't really have been posted as part of the Double Stamping challenge by Adventures in stamping. Again my stamping is so subtle it almost totally fails!

The other part of the challenge was to do something called shadow stamping, where you stamp in one colour, and stamp in another over slightly to the side to create a shadow effect. I did try this, with each different image but it just really didn't work out!

That being said I really love these, I'm going to be so sad when they start to chip. I also feel like it's been quite a while since I've done a really lovely mix up/pick n mix/skittles mani.

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Models Own - Blueberry Muffin
Thumb: Glitter
Stamping Colours: W7 - Suede, George - Boom, Jacava - Passion, BYS - Black Satin, Cliché - Opala
Stamping Plates: Cheeky CH36 Ch49, Bundle Monster BM312
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails
Here's the glitter in the shade.. this is in the shade people!!!
Below are 5 little vials of glitter that my friend gave me, so far I've done a full mani with the blue glitter and freaking loved it, and for this mani I used the second from the left.

Here's what I used:

And that's from me until next time!

Steam Punk Nails

Hi all

Little bit of a late post today, but If I don't do it now i'm going to crawl into bed until morning!

These, in my head, were awesome, but something about the stamp didn't really work. I think the stamp may be engraved too deep, as only one nail out of ten came out with actually spikes on the cogs, instead of smooshy circles.

That being said, I really enjoyed wearing these, I like how the whole thing pulled together. If only the stamp had worked out!! Yikes, ignore the blurry photos!
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Jacava - Chocolate Melts
Sponged Colours: W7 - Suede & Black
Stamping Colour: Miss Sporty - Electric Beige
Image Plate: Cheeky CH33
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails

Here's the base before the stamping:

Hope you guys have had a good Wednesday! I spent mine working, and snacking on Seaweed heh.

Jacava Chocolate Melts Review

Hi all!

Today I have a review/swatch of a polish I was sent by the company Jacava. To find out more about this company visit their site here all their polishes are DBP, Camphor, Formaldehyde and Toluene free, and they don't test on animals either.

I chose Chocolate Melts to try out. It was between that and Cappuccino Cream as I was really wanting to try one of their browns.

Dry time was really good, as was coverage. I have two thin coats on my index finger, and two thicker coats on the rest. Can you notice how squishy the thicker coats look? These are taken in various lighting, without base coat, and without top coat. Look at that shine!

This is how warm this polish looks most of the time, this picture was taken with the flash on my camera.

Horrible overcast daylight. I think you can see the slight colour difference between the thin and thick coats here.
Shade shot.

From this, and what I've seen of Jacava's other polishes I think most of their creme finishes are going to be more of a Creme-Jelly love child polish, a little bit squishy but with great coverage, and amazing shine.

Over all I'm impressed by polish formula, I really like the bottle and the handle, and the colour really is the perfect chocolate shade, and I know I'm gonna reach for this when I need this kind of warm milky brown.

These polishes retail for £14.50, but there's currently a 3 for 2 offer on.

Hope you're all having a good Saturday! :]
