Leafy - We Stamp On Sunday

Hi all! Happy Sunday! I'm having such a lazy weekend, I really need to edit some photos so I've got something ready for this weeks posts but I just can't concentrate :P

This week's challenge over at Adventures In Stamping was for a Leafy manicure. This is kind of what I was planning from the beginning, but I wish I had used a different leaf image, and maybe chosen different stamping polishes too.

Edit: I used this method for the multi coloured stamping. To see other times I've used this method click here.
Base Coat: La Femme
Base Colour: Essie - Ballet Slippers
Stamping Colours: Manhattan - Lemonade
Manhattan - Green Piece

Here's some swatches of the base colour, and what I used:

Hope you all liked them :] I think my favourite nail is my ring finger.

Spring Challenge - Day 7 - Butterflies

Today's Spring challenge is butterfly nails! I was really excited about doing these, and knew what I was going to do. Last year some time (May or June I think) I started seeing these style nails all over Tumblr, and I was dying to try them. I have no idea why It's taken me til now to try these out.

Don't forget to check out Esme's Blog to see her buttflies :]

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: Manhattan - Lemonade (my favourite yellow evvaaah)
Sponged colour: Deborah - Sunset cocktail
Black & White: Acrylic Paints
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1

I always have isues with spacing dots and such. I just feel like I ruined the whole mani with these dots =/

Pre-dots :]
This is the picture I took last year that I was going to use as inspiration.
Next up on Friday is Easter Nails!

April Fools Non Stamping - We Stamp On Sunday

Today's challenge over at Adventures In Stamping was to do a mani without stamping as a sort of April Fools' Day mani.

I was thinking about doing these at the start of the week; but didn't really know when I'd post them as I don't like posting every day and what have you. So when I heard the challenge was a non stamping one I figured it would be a perfect time ^-^
Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: W7 - Suede
Lines: Acrylic Paints
Tips: Sally Hansen - White On
George - Mischief & Manhattan - Lemonade mixed for the yolk

Nomnomn. I love Creme Eggs. However I love mini ones as the regular ones are way too sickly for me.

I hope everyone's having a good weekend :]

Using Circles - We Stamp On Sundays

This weeks challenge over at Adventures In Stamping was to use circles. This week I knew straight away what image I was going to use which is a nice change :P

I had just painted my nails with Models Own - Golden Peach when I decided to do nails for the challenge. I was going to stamp in three colours, but after I did two I decided to call it quits.

These seriously reminded my of Fruit Salad sweets, which I loooooove. Man I miss Fruit Salads & Black Jacks!

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: Models Own - Golden Peach
Stamping Colours: Manhattan - Lemonade & So-Ho Hot
Image Plate: Konad - M85
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1
Matte Coat: Rimmel - Matte Finish

Just for funsies this is what I found pre-mani when I went to go put a load on :P This is Cheese :]

Plate Ending In 7 - We Stamp On Sundays

Third challenge for the Adventures In Stamping! This time the challenge was to use an image plate ending in 7, I had a few to chose from, I think it would've been five, two from the first set of Bundle Monster, two from the second set, and Konad M57.

I really struggled in picking a plate to use, I was going to use a tips plate, but recently cut my nails down, so the ratio was a bit off ;(

Anyhoo I spent a good hour thinking of ideas, and then the toothache kicked in (Thursday) so I decided on good ol' leopard print :P

Of course I couldn't help doing some sponging.. And adding flakies! I started with my favourite yellow, sponged on an orange with gorgeous glass flecks in it, added some Nubar flakies, and then stamped with my trusty BYS black :]

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: Manhattan - Lemonade
Sponged Colour: Deborah - Sunset Cocktail
Flakies: Nubar - 2010 G188
Stamp Colour: BYS - Black Satin
Image Plate: Konad M57
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1
Again, no real lobster hands! Just very cold when I did these!

Was really quite hard to capture all the flakies, but in real life they really did shine their way through the space they had :]

Hope everyone's had a good weekend!

Bright Aztec

A week or so back I asked my brothers girlfriend if I could do her nails, and the only thing she knew is that she wanted bright ^_^. I'm starting to really love doing other peoples nails though I'm always nervous as hell and don't wanna hurt them when pushing back cuticles and such, and I have some shake issues sometimes :P

Anyhoo I got some nail inspiration pics from google and she decided on aztec. I think I might've tried aztec on one finger on myself  a few months back, and then decided it was too much hassle to commit to a whole mani, taking my weaker hand into consideration. So doing a full mani of aztec on someone else was rather fun.

Base Coat: Total Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: P2 - Pink It Up!
Yellow: Manhattan - Lemonade - 15
Green: P2 - Artful
Black Nail Art Pen
I think If I hadn't been a little hesitant I would've paid more attention to the spacing between colours, but I still love how it turned out. It was quite hard working on small nails (she's a biter) but she's said she didn't bite her nails as much having them painted, and I'm doing her nails again tomorrow :]

So a thank you to Steph for playing model :]

Yellow Alcohol Transfer

Such a gorgeous bright creamy polish, poifect!

So it's been way too long since I've done a transfer and I've been meaning to do something on a coloured base, this didn't work out perfect but I've never had owls on my nails so I don't care ^_^

& for good measure the images I used
