Space Invaders Cheeky Stamping

Hi all, happy Saturday, quick post today =]

A couple of weeks back I was stuck for what to do on my nails, and after a few suggestions I settled on doing Space Invader nails, as I'd been meaning to since I received my Cheeky Plates. 

This was one of the main reasons I'd bought Pop Green Special Polish, but after trying it out on my thumb I realised It wasn't as bold as I wanted it to be. So to try and get the brightness I used Pastel Green, and without picking the image up from the plate I used Pop Green and scraped again. I'm not sure what this kind of method is called, or where I read about it, but it did work to make the green stand out more, although I would have much preferred a solid colour I quite like how these turned out.

Base Coat: CND - Stickey

Stamping colours: Konad Special - Pop Green & Pastel Green

Dotted Colours: Nails Inc - Electric Lane & NOPI - Fell From The Tree

Top Coat: Advanced Hard As Nails

Without flash, in daylight you can see the flecks that Night Suede has. These look a bit busy, but I still like them.

Earth Day - We Stamp On Sundays

Hi all, I'd say happy Sunday but i'm sick and my head is so heavy :(

That being said I did manage to actually do this week's challenge over at Adventures In Stamping. This week's challenge was "Earth Day" nails. After racking my brains for ages about which stamps I could use to do an Earth, Water, Air and Fire style set up, I got totally stuck on Earth so gave up and settled on these much simpler nails instead!

Holographic Dollars

Hi all.

Today I have some nails for you that I was very excited to do, and I loved wearing these. These are a base of Gosh - Holographic Hero stamped with Konad - Pop Green using Cheeky CH55. So simple, but they were nice and bold. I felt so gangster with these.

I wore these before It started getting light enough in the mornings for me to take photos. As much as I don't like the heat, I'm beyond looking forward to real daylight for photo taking!

Tape & Stamp - We Stamp On Sundays

Hi all, hope you've had a good weekend!

It feels very weird for me writing this post (on a Sunday) but scheduling it for Monday. But it's getting late and I really really dislike posting too late.

This week's challenge over at Adventures In Stamping was to use tape in our mani, as well as stamping of course. As soon as this option was up for the vote I chose it because I instantly thought of a manicure I had seen many months ago on Tumblr. This is the manicure I'm talking about so gorgeous, and I love the original colour combo.
