Max Factor - Fantasy Fire Swatches Galore!!!

So this polish is a little bit of a beauty! But I'm sure most of you know this, and have seen swatches on many blogs already. That being said.. I can't not post these!

Such a pretty shift!

This is two coats over Rimmel - Black Satin, which is a typical black creme. I was surprised that this showed so gorgeously over black, but I guess I was wrong :P

Next up is two layers over Astor - Passion Flower. I picked this up a few weeks back for cheap cheap, thinking it would be awesome as a dusky base colour for some chrome stamping. Unfortunately it's much darker on the nail than in the bottle :( and kinda blah (see above). However with Fantasy Fire over it, it's much prettier ^-^

 

I dunno why my camera and this angle makes my nails look curved :/

Pastel Blue Pink Polka Dots And Cute Little Pups!

This mani's actually from a week or so back, but I seem to be forgetting older mani's with for sure posting pretty much what I'm wearing on Sunday for my We Stamp On Sunday challenges. But the fact I have a few slightly older mani's knocking around might help me out with scheduled posts next week while I'm on holiday :] We shall see!

So I looove the way these turned out. This was the first time using this plate, and the first time I've stamped, filled it in with a polish, and then re-stamped in a darker colour. I messed up a little bit just with my stamping technique, and messed up on the ring finger missing a huge chunk of the Natural Collection Polish I filled in the stamp with. So I filled in any bits of blue or pink that were peeking through.

OPI Muppets Tape Mani

Just a quick post tonight. I've been up since six this morning, with not much sleep during the night, and I've spent probably 6 hours travelling. So I'm super pooped. But tomorrow after I fill in an application for an interview on Friday I'm gonna catch up on my reading list again and sort another post :]

I've never done a tape mani like this before, and it was quite fun, I enjoyed it for a day, but I think any longer and I would feel like I would get bored of it, maybe just because of this colour combination, but who knows!

And because Designer... De Better is so damn hard to capture here's three pictures. It's such a gorgeous polish! I love the bronze flecks in this foil. Nommm! The bronze may be seen better in the bottle.

Only Using Blue - We Stamp On Sundays

This weeks challenge over at Adventures In Stamping was to only use blue. For the most part I was worried about what blue to stamp with. This was after I already painted my nails with LA Colors - Static Electricity, and added glitter, so any dark blues I could stamp with would be too subtle, or look black. So I opted to see how well Essence - Speed Of Light Blue would stamp. 

Overall I'm okay with how It turned out, though the finger is a bit smooshy. I loooove the little sneaks of glitter you get through the pattern, It's just a shame I couldn't capture it better!

This is the first plate I was obssessed with when I first got my set a few years back, I would try out different designs all the time, but when I had something planned I wanted dogtooth on my nails xD Which is why the plate's so scratched to hell! Damn you metal scraper! I kind of ruined the circle image a little, you can see where the top of the ring's been scraped away over time with the corner of the metal scraper. Boo.

I hope everyone's had a good weekend so far! I'm off my anti-biotics now, and I can't wait till about 6 when I can have a beer! Yum ^_^

Pink & White Simple Bundle Monster

Ever since I got my special white Konad polish at Christmas I'm obsessed with it. I think I'm making up for the years spent with no decent white polish to stamp with :P So yes, I've been picking up the white probably three out of four times, so expect more! I'm still feeling a little uninspired recently and feel like I need to get some mojo back! So hopefully soon :]

Models Own - Aqua Violet Swatch

So again I've not felt much like doing my nails, or posting, or in fact doing anything productive, as I'm still having problems with my teeth, well with the socket of the one I had pulled. Turns out I have a "little bit" of dry socket, so I'm now on anti-biotics, and I've had the socket packed with some clove mixture, which is awesome, because I love everything tasting like nasty clove oil ¬_¬ At the minute I'm still having a little bit of pain every hour or so but hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Rant over, just a quick swatch today :] I think the second photo's probably the best to see the colour shift.

The sun was hiding, so these aren't the best photos, but the shift is subtle, so it's really really hard to capture. While the colour is still nice, and pretty and all the rest I'm a little sad by how subtle the shift is. That being said, the day I had this on I did enjoy wearing it, I just think for me it's a colour to be stamped over for sure.
