Green On Green

I actually wore this for St.Patrick's Day. I love Collection 2000 - Mint Mojo, and Button Moon, and BMX Bandit. In fact pretty much everything I've tried of their new range I like.

There is an orange that I'd love for them to do again though, as my bottle is in baaad shape. It's my perfect orange, bright and fun with shimmer, and some lime shimmer popping through too! I'll have to post some swatches soon.

Silver Half Moons

So this Is my first ever half moon mani. Well the first one I've been satisfied enough with, that I left it on.
I still need a lot of practice, even though I used hole reinforcers to mask off the half moon area.

China Glaze - Millennium
Rimmel - Celebrity Bash
In direct sunlight the red still looked streaky after three coats, but maybe If I'd used a pastel shade, and then the red It would've helped.

Totally Ted Baker

Whenever I do this colour combination I always get reminded of the Ted Baker Deo-spray for men. In real life the combination looks more similar to the can, than how it turns out in photos.

Millennium!

So I had been looking for a good Silver for stamping, for a while.
And fell in love with China Glaze Millennium.
But all I could find was from America, and I think if I was to buy something and it was broken on delivery; I'd cry. I really would.
But then there was one on Ebay from a UK seller.

So I had to buy it. And Lordy the formula is amazing! It dries so quickly! And it stamps like pure mirrory goodness.

2 coats, no topcoat
The amazing thing is, this was taken on a horrible overcast day!
And it's still so shiny!
A con for me would be how it shows every little scratch and mark on the nail.
However, after a top coat you really can't tell at all.

Candy Striped.

I lovelovelove some of George @ Asda's nail polishes.
Some of them are incredibly good for stamping.
Like Streamer, I would always get compliments on this when I wore it alone, and it doubles as having total opacity as a stamping polish.

Unlike all the white's I own that arent very good at stamping :( which is why I went over this with a thin brush.
Fail. However I still love the Pink & Mintish colour combo.

Grey On Grey!

At this moment in time i'm fond of using similiar shades for stamping.
I am trying to get out of automatically reaching for black or silver, and i'm really liking the effects.

Pastel Pink Splatter

Spring makes me get into pastels a lot. It always does.
And I got some new plates from ebay! luxsense
I've bought all my Konad plates from there and have never had a problem.
And the delivery is seriously good.

Argyle

Miss Sporty - Fatal Black was a Christmas present from someone at work.

And it's so pretty. I'd describe it as a dark charcoal-black, it's a strange one though as it has a slight rainbow shimmer to it.

The formula's amazing too; it dries so so quick. And I only need two coats to totally cover my tips.

My First China Glazes!

I recently went into Sally's and seen China Glaze on offer, buy two, get a "No Chip Top Coat" free.
I'm not sure what happened, but I paid full price for all three, and I haven't got a discount card either ;(
Bad times.

On the plus side: I'm in love! It's been, a few years probably since i really liked shimmering polishes.

Awakening is a soft rose type pink, but with flashes of warm bronze.

I'll start by saying I love the formula of Nude Beige.

With Models Own  Pastel Pink I sometimes have a little chunky monkey problem. But that could be because I tend to be a little heavy handed.

Easter Egg - Leopard Print

I was in the mood for colour, but it wasn't until the second day of wearing this combination that I realised these looked more like crazy easter nails, rather than fun leopard print.

Needless to say they were still fun to wear ^-^

I think my nails are the strongest they've been in years, and I honeslty believe that's down to the top coat that i've been using religiously since I bought it.

Flowers & Sparkles.

So I have quite a lot of photos of my nails, even pre-konad but the photos themselves really don't look that great. So I'm going to post what i'm half happy with; until i get the hang of my new camera :]

You can see the colour better here.
