Nails Inc - Porchester Square & Victoria Funky French Argyle

Hi hi all, Wednesday, woop! Half way through the week!

Funky french stamped mani going on today, I never usually like funky french on me as cause I like my nails a little too square for them (personal preference). But after swatching Nails Inc - Victoria it's vampy goodness totally reminded me of Fingers at Fingers Polish Mania. Which is why I chose to stamp with Nails Inc - Porchester Square and finish it off with a little French tip.
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Nails Inc - Victoria
Stamping & French Colour: Nails Inc - Porchester
Image Plate: Konad M60
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails
And here's two coats of Victoria. A Third coat would've evened this out and made it super dark and sexy, but I wanted to keep it quite red.

Hope you're all keeping well =]

National Pet Week - We Stamp On Sundays

This week over at Adventures In Stamping the challenge theme is National Pet Week. I knew straight away what I was going to do as I'd just recieved some plates for review from The Born Pretty Store and was excited to use them. I will be doing a full stamping review of the two plates I got some time soon, so keep an eye out for that. For now though I used the little cat image from the S10 animal plate.

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colours: Rimmel - Milk Chocolate
                        Rimmel - Tip Whitener
Sponged Colours: ELF - Desert Haze
                             Matalan G - Storm
Stamping Colour: Konad Special White
Image Plate: Born Pretty Store - S10
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1

I started with Rimmel - Milk Chocolate, with an accent of Rimmel - Tip Whitener on my ring finger (which is god knows how many years old, but has been thinned so much now, it actually dries!) I sponged ELF - Desert Haze and Matalan G - Storm on Milk Chocolate, and Storm alone on the ring finger to represent Jazz, my grey and white cat. I then stamped with Konad Special White Polish, and added a top coat.

And as every stamping challenge goes here's what I used:

They also offered a 5% off coupon for my readers using code DS5X31

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Models Own - Nude Beige
Gold Studs
This is pre top coat, but I loved this combination so much, and I think Steph did too xD

Just a quick post today, I think I'm going to try and add some pages to my blog, or sort all my labels out, that massive list is doing my head in ¬_¬ I think I want some drop down boxes to sort via colour, or finish etc. Hmmm..

Brown And Gold Peacock

I think I'm starting to wear more Autumn colours now as it's definitely getting colour, and the biggest tree in my garden is almost naked! Although I'm not sure how long I will stay away from bright summer colours, cause I love eye catching nails, but we shall seeee.

I've never been a brown person, though it's growing on me; and back when I was 15-16 would never have even considered wearing it on my nails, never mind clothing. I'm not sure if it's because my taste's changed as i've gotten older, or just becasue I love polish that much and want to try everything out, and then there's trends to consider too. I don't know! Anyhoo, onto the nails ^_^

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: W7- Suede
Stamp Colour: Miss Sporty - Electric Beige
Plate: Bundle Monster 212
Dots: Miss Sporty - Gold Backtage
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat
And just for good measure a picture of one of my kitties Cheese, who was not impressed with me being up at the windowsill taking up her bird watching space :P

Miss Sporty Gold Backstage And Electric Beige Dogtooth

So the other week the boyfriend Scottius bought me some Miss Sporty polishes. I've been on the lookout for the perfect gold for some time now, especially for stamping. But everything I seem to find, Is too cool of a gold to stamp on warm colours and still look true gold. However with all that said done Scott was also on the hunt for me, maybe to shut me up :P I don't know, but after some info from Helly About Electric Beige from Miss Sporty, we thought we'd give it a try. And there just happened to be a 3 for 2 offer on xD

Here I'll be showing the beige and the gold, the other colour I have is a total dupe for P2 - Passion, Which will be another post once i've swatched it.

Three thin coats of Gold Backstage - Just to cover VNL
Another shot of Gold Backstage
Miss Sporty - Electric Beige (2 coats) Excuse the dry hands ;(
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Miss Sporty - Gold Backstage
Stamp Colour: Miss Sporty - Electric Beige
Plate: Konad M63
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat
I only stamped the beige on the gold to see how well it would show up, I was certain that it would be difficult to see in person, and even my camera had a little bit of a struggle capturing it at first. All I can say is Electric Beige Is so nice to stamp with, the formula is incredible, it dries almost like a true chrome, but it has a glossier texture, and doesn't ruin as fast while stamping. I haven't yet tried Gold Backstage for stamping, but I imagine it will be a lot like H&M - Wa Wa Woom, although Gold Backstage is a lot, a lot warmer.

Maybe I Should do a comparison of all the golds I own one day xD

Hope everyone's having a nice Saturday :]

Jammie Dodger Nails

As soon as I seen this plate when my new Bundle Monster arrived I instantly thought Jammie Dodgers. I'm really not sure why. But I've been wanting to try it ever since. Originally I saw the old school Jammie Dodgers, without the heart centres. However hearts are cute ^_^

I'm not convinced they look like Jammie Dodgers still, but it was a nice mani to wear :]

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - White On
Stamp Colour: Rimmel - Milk Chocolate
Plate: BM203
Hearts: Red Acrylic Paint
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

Beige & Turquoise Leopard Print

The first of many Leopard print to come.
<3 Animal Prints, and love the M57 Plate.

Pre-Cleanup

Konad: M57
Stamping Colour: BYS - Black Satin
Base Colour: Models Own - Nude Beige
For The Dots: Beauty UK -Turquoise Shimmer
Top Coat: Rimmel 10 Day Wear

Models Own Nude Beige.

I'll start by saying I love the formula of Nude Beige.

With Models Own  Pastel Pink I sometimes have a little chunky monkey problem. But that could be because I tend to be a little heavy handed.
