I had no idea what to title this, I love the idea of this mani, but not the execution; and I don't really think it's very me. Oh and bullion beads... you annoying little gits!

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: La Femme - Pink Creme
Stamp Colour: N.Y.C - Foil For You
Image Plate: Konad M79

From this angle the curve doesn't look wonky ;]

It's crazy that it's only been a year, but I have everyone that reads/comments my blog to thank. Checking my blog after I've done a post and seeing a few comments is awesome. I love reading what you guys have to say!

Barry M - Peach Melba

A Revlon Nail Growth Treatment

Using 3 Colours - We Stamp On Sundays

This weeks challenge over at Adventures In Stamping was to use 3 colours. I dunno if it was meant to be three colours including the base or not, but I think it's open to interpretation. Unless it's regarding green/blue and teals :P Hehe.

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: Models Own - Utopia
Stamping Colours: China Glaze - Frostbite
                             George - Hoax
                             Miss Sporty - Unknown Colour
Image Plate: Konad M64
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1

What I used :]

Kind of hard to see the change in purples, but you can better see the colour changes on the ring and pinky finger.

Stamping like this is my favourite kind. Don't get my wrong; I like nothing more than striking stamping on a plain base colour, but I just love mixing colours.

For stamping like this, where I don't want any harsh lines, I always use the polish left on the scraper not using the first stamp. :]

W7 Gold & Black Leaves - Bundle Monster

I never really know how to describe this stamp, to me it looks like leaves, hence the title; but I'm not totally sure. Thoughts?

Really simple mani today, I did it just because I wanted to stamp. I wasn't particularly inspired or anything, but I freaking love how it turned out. From arm's length it looked so crisp and clean!

W7 - Gold Mirror was given to me in a set with Matt Green, from my lovely Sister-In-Law, out of the blue and for no reason. Just cause she's lovely like that xD So Thank you Martine!

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: W7 - Gold Mirror
Stamp Colour: BYS - Black Satin
Image Plate: Bundle Monster BM210
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1

Gold Mirror kicks the ass of Miss Sporty - Gold Backstage, I haven't actually compared the two, but Gold Mirror goes on more evenly, dries MUCH quicker and covers much better too. And I imagine they look similar too.

First Feather Mani - Huge Fail

Ever since I seen the whole feather idea over at Chloe's Nails last year I'd been wanting to try it myself. However I never got round to buying feathers or anything like that, but when I was clearing away some of my old art stuff last month I found some feathers, not the best size but I figured they'd do.

I didn't have any glue to hand.. So I decided to just use top coat, all was going well-ish until I lost some bit's of feathers, and I don't think I waited long enough between coats though as I have quite a lot of ugly bubbling going on ;(

From arms length they didn't look too bad.... But up close = blergh! Also; I didn't use this China Glaze top coat, If I had I probably would have something less, plastic looking, but I used Models Own - 3 In 1, which is just really thin, really good for top coating stamps, and what have you, but does not give a glassy look. Not that you can really tell from this photo.

Two Blog Awards

I got these before my trip to Edinburgh, and kind of forgot about them since I've been back ;( Sorry! As much as I love finding out about other bloggers, I hate trying to figure out what to write about myself.

I received these two awards from Polish Enthusiast and DRINKCITRA. Edit: I also got awarded this by Clothescosmeticsandchat. They are blogs I lovee, so thank you very much! :]

One Lovely Blog Award:

The rules for this one are:
Link back to the person you got it from
Tell 7 things about yourself
Give the award to 10 bloggers

I seriously don't know what 7 things I can say that I haven't already said, so I'm going to skip over these seven random facts and skip to The Butterfly Award that has questions I can answer :P

The second tag is the Butterfly Award:
The Questions:

What's your favorite song?
At the minute It's Lana Del Rey - Video Games
What's your favorite dessert?
Ice Cream
Who's your favorite pet?
I can't pick, I love all my Kitties ^-^

Black or white?
Black

What's your biggest fear?
Not being able to make a life for myself and Scott.

What's your best feature?
My eyes maybe?

What's your everyday attitude?
It differs, at the minute It's just a bore to be awake with nothing to do :/ So I guess not good. Haha.

What is perfection?
There's no such thing, the world would be a boring place if it did exist.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Watching loads of shows that I don't really like, just for something to watch :P

Okay, so I know skipped the seven random facts, but Im also skipping tagging any other blogs in this, I feel like those I tag will already have this as this is not exactly recent. For those who don't have this consider yourself tagged :]

Pink & White Flowers - Bundle Monster

So this is another post from before Valentines. I've pulled my back (old before my time; I know) so it's not pleasant to be sat, up, or to be at any angle where I can type. So this is gonna be super quick then I'm gonna spend the next couple of hours watching Once Upon A Time, and anything else that I need to catch up on.

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: La Femme - No Name Pink Creme
Stamp Colour: Konad - Special White
Image Plate: Bundle Monster BM16
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1
I loved wearing these for the day I had them on, from afar they looked like nail stickers, and were kind of trippy. Very fun indeed.

Anyhoo I hope everyone's having a good Shrove Tuesday / Pancake Day :] & I will be catching up *fingers crossed* with blog posts I need to read tomorrow.

A Plate Ending In 3 - We Stamp On Sundays

This weeks challenge over at Adventures In Stamping was to use a plate ending in 3. I didn't have any real plans for this, but my boyfriend had said the night before I did my nails that I should use the green from this mani. So I did, but as most of you know by now I'm loving sponging before stamping at the minute, so with a soft sponge I sponged on the fluorescent yellow randomly, and with the rough side, dabbed on a little bit of matte green.

I really liked the way it turned out :] Though it's a little hard to see where the yellow is sponged over the green hehe.

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: George - Martian
Sponged Colours: YSSY - Not Named
W7 - Matt Green
Stamping Colour: BYS - Black Satin
Image Plate: Konad M73
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1

So fun, looks like a splatter mani ^_^
The yellow is so crazy bright!
Just for funsies this is the sponge I used... Hahah.

Pre-Valentines Day Mani

Pretty quick mani tonight, as I'm wearing my mani for tomorrow's Stamping Challenge. And I'm chlling with some beers. So this was from a few days before Valentines day. It's pretty cutesy, and I hadn't used China Glaze - Awakening in an age. :]

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: China Glaze - Awakening
Stamping Colour: Konad Special White
Image Plate: Bundle Monster BM209
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat
Carrying on my obsession for Konad White. I am seriously still making up for all those times I did a design stamped with white, and it wasn't thick enough, and all those times I decided to use black instead and wish I had a decent enough white xD

Hope everyone's having a good Saturday  :]

Interview Nails Pt 2 - Models Own Nude Beige & Konad M57

Because I'm not yet ready to get into the mode of blogging and organising; here's some photos of some more recent interview nails, really boring, but fun for the day. And mission accomplished with playing it safe for the interview.

These look much better on than in typical bottle photos, I just think from your own view point looking down, cuticle to tip, the perspective gives a better proportion to the tip design.

Ever since I got this plate, pretty much at the start of my stamping days I've wanted to do this design in white over a sheer or nude colour. On my thumbs I had the leopard and lace print design going diagonaly over.

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: Models Own - Nude Beige
Stamp Colour: Konad Special White
Image Plate: Konad M57
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

I figured I'd write this up on the train on the way home so it's all ready and sorted so I can just chill when I'm in, but that only happened partially until I realised I had no free Wi-Fi and felt awkward not fully posting xD

Edinburgh was great, really really great ^_^ On the first night we caught up with our friend Aidan who's living back in Edinburgh (been about a year or so since we last seen him). He cooked us dinner and he didn't poison us! ( long story :P) and then went out on the town, to quite a few places I went when I first went to Edinburgh some years back. So that was fun, was feeling a little delicate on Valentine's day when we went to Edinburgh Dungeons, so uneven flooring, dim lights, and loud noises wasn't the best idea in the world, but later on Wagamama made everything better, mm ^_^

Anyhoo I'll stop rambling on! I want to watch the new episode of The Walking Dead & some How I Met Your Mother :D

All in all I had a great time, but I'm glad to be home and have a snuggle in bed watch The Walking Dead, and cuddle Cheese (as she's the only one who ventures on the bed). She huffed a little bit when we first got in, wanting picked up but pretending like she didn't. She then cabbaged on the bed loving getting her belly rubbed! My brother and his girlfriend are glad we're back so they don't get trampled on tonight by her, she loves padding and clawing when you're asleep, and also walking over your face and head until you let her under the covers... It's a good job she's so cute :P

Again with the rambling! I'm looking forward to catching up with the mahooosive amounts of posts I need to read tomorrow! Nighty! x

Happy Valentines Day!

Valentines Nails - We Stamp On Sundays

This weeks challenge over at Adventures In Stamping was Valentines nails, I had other ideas for this challenge but these just happened hahaha.

Base Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1
Base Colour: La Femme - Pink Creme
Shimmer: Max Factor - Fantasy Fire
Stamping Colours: Konad White, & Konad Wine Red (Possibly!)
Image Plate: Konad M56
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In

I really didn't feel like posting these. It's one of those mani's that you just hate as soon as you see the photos you're meant to be posting :P I guess this is what happened when I try to do my nails hungover! The only reason I did this post in the end is because I only missed the first challenge, and I don't want to feel like i'm letting myself down by not posting.

So far (excluding this week) I've had a lot of fun doing these challenges. It's nice to have a certain aim to think of when pulling out polishes, rather than just slapping something together xD

My brain really is not working yet, and I still have to do my nails for what will be the rest of the week, and pack for leaving tomorrow. So it's not going to be an overly fun night as I have no idea where to start!

Hope everyone's had a good weekend!

Max Factor - Fantasy Fire Swatches Galore!!!

So this polish is a little bit of a beauty! But I'm sure most of you know this, and have seen swatches on many blogs already. That being said.. I can't not post these!

Crazy green flash :D
Pretty bottle! Check out the turquoise on the side with the label! So pretty

Blurfest; but you can see how crazy shiny this is!

Such a pretty shift!
This is two coats over Rimmel - Black Satin, which is a typical black creme. I was surprised that this showed so gorgeously over black, but I guess I was wrong :P

Next up is two layers over Astor - Passion Flower. I picked this up a few weeks back for cheap cheap, thinking it would be awesome as a dusky base colour for some chrome stamping. Unfortunately it's much darker on the nail than in the bottle :( and kinda blah (see above). However with Fantasy Fire over it, it's much prettier ^-^

I dunno why my camera and this angle makes my nails look curved :/
Happy Friday everyone! :D Three days until mine and Scott's trip to Edinburgh ^_^ woop!

Pastel Blue Pink Polka Dots And Cute Little Pups!

This mani's actually from a week or so back, but I seem to be forgetting older mani's with for sure posting pretty much what I'm wearing on Sunday for my We Stamp On Sunday challenges. But the fact I have a few slightly older mani's knocking around might help me out with scheduled posts next week while I'm on holiday :] We shall see!

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colours: Models Own - Pastel Pink
                        Collection 2000 - Button Moon
Polka Dot Colours: Models Own - Pastel Pink
                              George - Streamer
Dog Colours: Natural Collection - Sugar Mouse
                      BYS - Black Satin
Image Plates: Bundle Monster BM19,
                      Konad M10
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

So I looove the way these turned out. This was the first time using this plate, and the first time I've stamped, filled it in with a polish, and then re-stamped in a darker colour. I messed up a little bit just with my stamping technique, and messed up on the ring finger missing a huge chunk of the Natural Collection Polish I filled in the stamp with. So I filled in any bits of blue or pink that were peeking through.

Hope everyone's having a good Wednesday! :]

OPI Muppets Tape Mani

Just a quick post tonight. I've been up since six this morning, with not much sleep during the night, and I've spent probably 6 hours travelling. So I'm super pooped. But tomorrow after I fill in an application for an interview on Friday I'm gonna catch up on my reading list again and sort another post :]

I've never done a tape mani like this before, and it was quite fun, I enjoyed it for a day, but I think any longer and I would feel like I would get bored of it, maybe just because of this colour combination, but who knows!

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colours: OPI - Designer... De Better
OPI - Wocka Wocka!
OPI - Excuse Moi!
Top Coat: China Ghip Top Coat

And because Designer... De Better is so damn hard to capture here's three pictures. It's such a gorgeous polish! I love the bronze flecks in this foil. Nommm! The bronze may be seen better in the bottle.

Night night!!
