Valentines Day - We Stamp On Sundays

Hi all, I'm totally not feeling valentines day this year surprise surprise. So while this week's challenge over at Adventures In Stamping is for Valentines Day stamping, you guys get my nails from last year that I never posted.

This time last year I was getting ready for an interview, and planning what to take to Edinburgh. I had planned these nails before hand, but then it got really late the day before we traveled so I rushed them.
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Colours Used: Models Own - Pastel Pink
                          MUA - Shade 20
                          La Femme - Pink Creme
                         Sally Hansen - White On
                         Clubworks - Fuchsia
                         OPI - Excuse Moi
Nail Art Pens: White Green & Pink
Green Acrylic Paint
Striping Tape
Stamping Polishes: Konad Special White
                             BYS - Black Satin
Image Plates: Bundle Monster BM03, BM08,
                     Konad M60
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat
Forgive me for the quality of the picture and the rushed job. Oddly the guy at Edinburgh Dungeons who takes the photos when you're in the stock with an axe complimented me on these.

Hope you've all had a good weekend. I spent my Friday night chilling, and my Saturday back and forth to the bathroom feeling like I was going to be sick :( Gladly I feel better today.

Beauty UK - Peach Melba & Purple Double Stamping

Still on the mission of powering through some mani's from the "vault" so today we have some summery nail stamping. Double stamping on super shorties.

I started with a base of Beauty UK - Peach Melba, which was a little tricky if I'm honest, and I think I should've spent an extra pound on the Barry M, and had a friendlier brush to deal with. The base is two coats, then stamped with Max Factor - Fantasy Fire and Bundle Monster BM20, and then Barry M - Indigo and Bundle Monster BM08.

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Beauty UK - Peach Melba
Stamping Colours: Max Factor - Fantasy Fire
                             Barry M - Indigo
Image Plates: Bundle Monster BM08, BM20
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1
I'm a little gutted that this is the only decent photo I got of these, It was so so hard trying to capture a photo of the shift sparkle going on in Fantasy Fire, but trust me it was there. It almost looked like little veins of sparkly goodness when I moved my fingers. That may be a gross description, but it's the only one I've got :P

And here's two shots of Peach Melba.
Sunlight
This is probably the truest representation of colour.
Such a pretty polish, just like all those pretty peaches around though, but a bargain at £1.99.

Queen's Day - We Stamp On Sunday

This weeks challenge over at Adventures In Stamping is a mani for Queen's Day. All I know about Queen's Day is what I've read on Wiki. So If you want to read more, click here. I didn't really know what to do for these, so I settled on the obvious idea of orange and a crown. I hope I've done the holiday proud :]

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: Paris Memories - 216
Stamp Colours: Miss Sporty - Gold Backstage
                         BYS - Black Satin

Under The Sea - We Stamp On Sundays

Recently I joined Adventures In Stamping on Facebook, and wasn't sure if I'd join the the weekly challenges. This was mainly because I'm slightly lazy, and I've never given any challenges a go so I'm not sure if I'll be very good with posting when I need to.

However, seeing as I have loads of free time I figured what the heck :] I missed the first challenge, which was to use green, but joined as "Under The Sea" theme was decided.

So here it is :]

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: George - Cloudless Sky
Sponged With: George - Under The Sea
                      Clubworks - Neon Green
                      Models Own - Golden Green
                      Models Own - Emerald Black
                      Cutex - Sweet Pea
                      O.P.I. - Warm & Fozzie
                      China Glaze - Frostbite
                      Rimmel - Disco Ball
Stam Colours: Konad - Special White

                      George - Meteorite
                      Miss Sporty - Electric Beige
                      Models Own - Emerald Black
Image Plates Used: BM03, BM04, BM05, BM08, BM12
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

I think I maybe did a little too much sponging and layering I went a little wild with the amount of polishes I used too this is going to be a nightmare to label! I wanted the skelly Fish to be sponged over, but I forgot to do a top coat before stamping Electric Beige so it took on a rough kind of texture.
After this I added a Matte Top Coat, and it helped bring the stamping out a little bit, especially the bronze colour, but the light had just ran away and I don't want to get out of bed to go take photos now, and delay the whole process even more. But mainly.. bed is warm!

The polishes used, Minus George - Under The Sea, Konad White, and Top & Base Coats
Plates Used
And last picture.. While doing my nails I turned around to find my cat Pickle sleeping like this....
I have no idea if that could even be comfortable for her!
