Nails Inc - Porchester Square & Victoria Funky French Argyle

Hi hi all, Wednesday, woop! Half way through the week!

Funky french stamped mani going on today, I never usually like funky french on me as cause I like my nails a little too square for them (personal preference). But after swatching Nails Inc - Victoria it's vampy goodness totally reminded me of Fingers at Fingers Polish Mania. Which is why I chose to stamp with Nails Inc - Porchester Square and finish it off with a little French tip.
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Nails Inc - Victoria
Stamping & French Colour: Nails Inc - Porchester
Image Plate: Konad M60
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails
And here's two coats of Victoria. A Third coat would've evened this out and made it super dark and sexy, but I wanted to keep it quite red.

Hope you're all keeping well =]

Superman, Supergirl, Nails. KKcenterHk Water Decal Review

So a while back I was contacted by Maggie from KKcenterHk about reviewing some water decals, I immediately said I would love to, but it took me a little longer to figure out which style water decals I would like to try as they have so many! After narrowing it down to something like 10 designs, I finally decided on these, and these.
Here we have WDBLE974 and WDDC061
I was so, so intrigued to get my hands on these ones as I'd never seen metallic water decals before. And as soon as I seen the designs my mind started racing with ideas of what mani's I could do! These retail for USD$6.39, or just under £4.
So Shiny!
I cut off the designs I was going use, and them placed them in a shot glass of water. I used tweezers to peel off the design and place it on my nail, patting off excess water with my finger making sure there were no bubbles under the design. I them patted off the nail with a piece of tissue, and continued with the other nails before adding a top coat to seal the decal in. These are unlinke any water decals I've used before, they didn't feel like they were going to break after I peeled them off the backing paper, which has been my experience in the past. I loved these nails, and so did my boyfriend :]

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: LA Colors - Static Electricity
Tip Colour: OPI - Wocka Wocka
KKcenterHk water decals
Top Coat: Model Own - 3 In 1

Minted & Skinny Silver Tip

Back to feeling wintery today colour wise! :D I still wish it would hurry up and snow here, as it looks miserable outside! Not as miserable as I feel today though, as I'm coming down with something, my back & joints ache; my eyes are bloodshot and sore, and my throat is pretty nasty feeling. I sounded like such a man when I first woke up :P

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Revlon - Minted
Tip Colour: Miss Sporty - Silver (Unknown Name/Number)
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

I felt like something simple; and felt like a skinny french tip, as many times I do them way too large, but I think this is because I used to tape them off, but I think free-handing is the way to go now ^_^ Though I still need more practice.

Voodoo Violet & Evening Seduction Funky French.

Just a quick post today, as there's not much to say about these :P If you want to see the original swatch click here the polish looks a lot prettier, and how it looks in the bottle is how it looks in real life.

I've came to the conclusion after this mani that I dont really like Funky Frenches when my nails are this long, or just the tip being so big, however I like the colour combo. In real life the purple of Evening Seduction is a lot more obvious.

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: BYS - Voodoo Violet
Tip: China Glaze - Evening Seduction
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

Matte Purple & Gloss Funky French

I recently needed to do some simple nails for a meeting I had with HR, which I thought was going to be quite formal. So I did a Lucky Dip, and picked out a colour i haven't used in at least 6 months. And I really don't use my matte top coat enough; or even experiement with it. :]

I decided to add a gloss tip quickly - only one thin coat.

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: George - Hoax (two coats)
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat
Matte Coat: Rimmel - Matte Finish

& Then Some More Top Coat On The Tips.
