Green Gradient & Frog Stamping

So after testing out the images from the plates I recieved from the Born Pretty Store I decided to do some stamping, and I was in the mood for the froggie so I used  M30, and used a green gradient for the background :]

This is more colour true.
Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base colour: Rimmel - Tip Whitener
Sponged Colours: Yes Love - Neon Green - 23
                                  W7 - Matte Green
                                  Revlon - Emerald City
Stamping Colour: Konad White
Image Plate: BPM30
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1
The gradient's a lot prettier in real life, but it was bad photo weather lol. I hope everyone's having a good Thursday!

Spring Challenge - Day 6 - Frogs

Today's instalment of the Spring challenge myself and Esme of Nail Addict are doing calls for frogs! I was seriously excited to do these, and even had a little idea all drawn out and everything! But then I started to do my nails and realised that they're tiny compared to what I was planning! I still went ahead trying to cram stuff on anyways :P

Anyhooo here's what I came up with :]

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: Collection 2000 - Button Moon
Other Colours: Bourjois 10 Day Wear - No.18
                       Cutex - Sweet Pea
                       Geroge - Martian
                       Sally Hansen - White On
                       BYS - Lila Bliss
                       George - Buttercup Shine
                       George - Meteorite
                       W7 - Matte Green
                       Rimmel - Hard Edged
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1
Big frog thumbs. Cutex - Sweet Pea as the froggie base, sponged randomly with a few other colours. Eyes and nose are Sally Hansen - White On, Rimmel - Hard Edged, And George - Buttercup Shine.

I wanted to capture the mani before I attempted the small frog; and I'm so glad I did as I think he looks more like a green lump than a frog xD When I did the smaller frog I also made some changed to the lily flower.

And because I've discovered some love for free hand nail art when matte:

And just for funsies/creepies, here's a pic of a frog in my pond a few weeks back with a crazy eye. My dad thinks one of the cats has caught it :(

Don't forget to check out Esme's post today to see what she came up with :]
