Base Colour: Collection 2000 - Bongo Beat
Flakies: Golden Rose - Scale Effects 13
Stamping Colour: BYS - Black Satin
Image Plates: Bundle Monster BM201, BM211
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1
Matte: Rimmel - Matte Finish

And a picture of the base colour & flakie combo for good measure :]

Hot Hot Hot - We Stamp On Sundays

This weeks challenge over at Adventures In Stamping was to use hot colours, or a hot theme? I'm not sure, but I was just bored; and was thinking about this mani, and how I loved the combo, and that led me to using a hot pink chrome for my stamping today.

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: Deborah - Turquoise Fever
Stamping Colour: NYC - Foil'er Up
Image Plate: Bundle Monster BM201
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1

And here's the gorgeous base colour

Honestly the stamping and base colour look great in the photos, but it was mesmerising in real life, like, so shiny and so bold :D love them xD

Spring Challenge - Day 6 - Frogs

Today's instalment of the Spring challenge myself and Esme of Nail Addict are doing calls for frogs! I was seriously excited to do these, and even had a little idea all drawn out and everything! But then I started to do my nails and realised that they're tiny compared to what I was planning! I still went ahead trying to cram stuff on anyways :P

Anyhooo here's what I came up with :]

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: Collection 2000 - Button Moon
Other Colours: Bourjois 10 Day Wear - No.18
                       Cutex - Sweet Pea
                       Geroge - Martian
                       Sally Hansen - White On
                       BYS - Lila Bliss
                       George - Buttercup Shine
                       George - Meteorite
                       W7 - Matte Green
                       Rimmel - Hard Edged
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1
Big frog thumbs. Cutex - Sweet Pea as the froggie base, sponged randomly with a few other colours. Eyes and nose are Sally Hansen - White On, Rimmel - Hard Edged, And George - Buttercup Shine.

I wanted to capture the mani before I attempted the small frog; and I'm so glad I did as I think he looks more like a green lump than a frog xD When I did the smaller frog I also made some changed to the lily flower.

And because I've discovered some love for free hand nail art when matte:

And just for funsies/creepies, here's a pic of a frog in my pond a few weeks back with a crazy eye. My dad thinks one of the cats has caught it :(

Don't forget to check out Esme's post today to see what she came up with :]

Revlon Whimsical Swatches

I know most of you have seen way too many swatches of Whimsical. But I can't not share mine too! This was the polish I swapped Fantasy Fire for with Iris.

I loved this polish, I wish it was slightly more opaque, as I'd rather not layer it and get more squishy goodness, but I can't be bothered for the 4/5 layers that would take. Other than that the formula was good, I did have to place some of the glitter though. Turns out I'm a little heavy handed and just brushed the glitter off.

Two Coats of Essence - Speed Of Light Blue & Two Coats of Revlon - Whimsical

I think the next time I use this I will be more careful with placing the glitter before the second coat so I get more depth to it. Hope you guys enjoyed my swatches :]

OPI - Nevermore Swatches

I thought I'd share my swatches of OPI's Nevermore, Which I received from Iris along with some other crackers! I also though I'd share some other news about the giveaways I've won. I've had some great luck recently :]

First up the swatches. Nevermore is a stunning dark blue-purple, kind of duo chrome, with blue shimmer, and purple flecks. I seriously love this colour, I have nothing in my stash like it.

Look at all that gorgeous In the bottle!

Pretty certain none of these photos do this beauty justice!

This is how I received the polishes I got from Iris. How pretty is that paper!

Revlon - Whimsical, Claire's - Candy Shop, OPI - Nevermore

All so gorgeous, and all graced my fingertips the same day as I got the package - Even though I had just finished my nails :P So a biiiig thanks once again to Iris at Polish Amor for these ^_^

I thought I'd also share my winnings from Lucy's Stash. I won prize number two in her Blogiversary Giveaway. I don't think I'll share swatches, but from what I've tried so far I'm loving Elf, the shimmer pencil is gorgeous. Downside - I'm obssessed with trying to pull off the Lipstick in the sleek box. I love the colour, but I'm not sure I rock it :P

Ah this seems like a long post! I've also just had news that I won The Lacquered Nail's first giveaway, And the main goodie is a Barielle! I'm so excited!!!  :D

P2 Passion & No7 Betty Blues Damask

P2 Passion is such a gorgeous colour, and I think I've recently added a Miss Sporty colour to my stash that's pretty much a dead on dupe. But that's for another post ^_^ In person the stamping looked more blue, and in the last photo you can sort of see that the shimmer comes through too. I think after leopard print, damask is my favourite go-to design. I wish there were some more image plates with damask on so I could change it up a bit. But maybe there is, who knows!

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: P2 - Passion
Stamp Colour: No7 - Betty Blues
Plate: BM21
Top Coat: China Glaze No Chip Top Coat

I know in reality I should be lusting after Autumn colours, but I just love bright so much!
