ELF - Mint Cream & Models Own - Emerald Black Stamping

Quick post today, I was in a green mood, so I opted for some green on green stamping, and chose to use images I've never used before. On Bundle Monster BM11 there are two images that are the same, one is outline, and one is the solid image.

I started with ELF - Mint Cream, this was my first time using this polish, and I was so impressed with the formula. Easy peasy two quick drying coats. I don't have any swatches at the minute though sorry! I had to double stamp each nail too as the images are only small. I was only going to do an accent nail, but I didn't pay much attention while stamping, so index and middle finger have the outline image, and ring and pinky have the solid image.

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colour: ELF - Mint Cream
Stamp Colour: Models Own - Emerald Black

Please excuse the colour of my skin, it was a very, very cold day when I took these.

More Easter Nails - We Stamp On Sundays

Today's challenge over at Adventures In Stamping was Easter/Spring themed nails. Though I'm not sure if the theme has been changed maybe?

I was totally racking my brains as to what to do for this challenge. I tried playing around with sections of tribal type tip images to make Easter like eggs. But that really didn't work out. So I just decided to use a new image from the Big SdP image plate that I won from Shirley over at Dashica Beauty. Yes; I realise my winning streak is crazy at the minute! I appreciate it all so much though =]

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: BYS - Lila Bliss
Stamping Colour: Konad Special White
Image Plate: Dashica Big SpD - A
Other Colours: George - Smarty Pants
Models Own - Pastel Pink
Mini M&S - Yellow

Here's what I used:
So many new pretties to play with! :D

And for good measure here's a picture of Pickle lazing in the sun the other day for the brief 10 minutes it was out.

She also goes by Picklicious which is one of my favourites for her. That or Pixel ^_^ Oh; and that's Jazz in the background!

Thanks again to Shirley! I'm still dying to play with all the pretty possibilities!

Spring Challenge - Day 8 - Easter Nails

Today's nails for the Spring Challenge are Easter nails. For these I had a few ideas, and knew I wanted to do a Pick 'n' Mix / Skittles mani. I got the idea for the Mini Eggs from Emily's Nail Files with this great tutorial. At first I wasn't really feeling the colour combination I had going on, but changed some things around, and after the 3 days I had them on I'd grown to love them.

Don't forget to check out Esme's Blog to see what she came up with for today!

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You
Base Colours: Models Own - Utopia & Pastel Pink
Free Hand Colours: Revlon - Minted
                                Mini M&S - Yellow

                                Models Own - Pastel Pink
                                Sally Hansen - White On
Stamp Colour: Konad White
Image Plate: BM19
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1

Then I added a matte top coat to make everything soft :]

Minted & Skinny Silver Tip

Back to feeling wintery today colour wise! :D I still wish it would hurry up and snow here, as it looks miserable outside! Not as miserable as I feel today though, as I'm coming down with something, my back & joints ache; my eyes are bloodshot and sore, and my throat is pretty nasty feeling. I sounded like such a man when I first woke up :P

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Revlon - Minted
Tip Colour: Miss Sporty - Silver (Unknown Name/Number)
Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

I felt like something simple; and felt like a skinny french tip, as many times I do them way too large, but I think this is because I used to tape them off, but I think free-handing is the way to go now ^_^ Though I still need more practice.

I'd been wanting to do these for a while, and did them a week or so back, but never got a photo, so I did them again and only got one good photo (I don't know what's going on with my lamo skills recently haha)

Birthday Goodies, Birthday Mani, Tattoo, Shitzu's. Pic Heavy!

I wasn't sure what to title this post, as it's going to have quite a lot of images. So I'll just get on with it :]

Not the best mani I've ever done, but I got loads of compliments on it :]

Mini Haul & Odd-Bling Leopard

Last week I took a trip with my parents to Chester-le-street (about half an hour drive I think) in hope of finding some nail goodies on the market there.

And I did, two very luminous (despite what the photo looks like) neon's from the market, and five others from Boyes. The market it's self was disappointing though very blah :(

It's a very rare occasion that I get to go to Boyes, I used to love Boyes as a kid, getting false nails and random makeup goodies, but that was when I was staying at the caravan with the family near Richmond, or visiting family in Northallerton / going to Darlington. I forgot how much I love that place!

On to the goodies :]]

L-R: Yssy - Name Is Unkown, Revlon - Minted, Color Craze - Power Outage, Yes Love - Neon Green,
Color Craze - Static Electricity, Rimmel - Milk Chocolate, Color Craze - Atomic
I picked the neon's up just for fun, and at 50p each I couldn't resist. From Boyes I first picked up the LA Color polishes and i wish i had gotten all the others they have by them. They're very jelly like in application and some don't cover my nail line too well with thin coats, but thicker coats aren't a drying problem.

I wish I'd bought Revlon - Minted when I was lusting after a mint, though streaking can be tricky it's so so so much nicer than Collection 2000's Mint Mojo. Though I still like the colour.

Base colour: LA Colors - Color Craze - Power Outage
Glitter: Mac - Crystalled Fuschia

Stamp colour: BYS - Black Satin
Plate: M57
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Top Coat - China Glaze - no chip top coat
What you can't see in the photo is that there's violet shimmer throughout this polish - so pretty. The glitter that I pressed on when the Polish was tacky is actually quite a bright pink that flashes Lime green & sometimes Lilac.

Green On Green

I actually wore this for St.Patrick's Day. I love Collection 2000 - Mint Mojo, and Button Moon, and BMX Bandit. In fact pretty much everything I've tried of their new range I like.

There is an orange that I'd love for them to do again though, as my bottle is in baaad shape. It's my perfect orange, bright and fun with shimmer, and some lime shimmer popping through too! I'll have to post some swatches soon.

Stamping Colour: Constance Carrol - Empire

Top Coat: China Glaze - No Chip Top Coat

Totally Ted Baker

Whenever I do this colour combination I always get reminded of the Ted Baker Deo-spray for men. In real life the combination looks more similar to the can, than how it turns out in photos.

Candy Striped.

I lovelovelove some of George @ Asda's nail polishes.
Some of them are incredibly good for stamping.
Like Streamer, I would always get compliments on this when I wore it alone, and it doubles as having total opacity as a stamping polish.

Unlike all the white's I own that arent very good at stamping :( which is why I went over this with a thin brush.
Fail. However I still love the Pink & Mintish colour combo.
