My dotting tools from eBay arrived the other day; and as I only had a little time to do my nails so I figured a half moon Mani with some dots along the line would be a good idea. Especially as I'd already got a dry base colour from the night before.
When I picked up this colour from No7 it was when the £5 off voucher was going around, and it was a toss up between a similar colour, but So Simple seemed more opaque.
Honestly, I'm not a massive fan of this shade of nude on me, and I wonder when I'll find my "mannequin hands" shade. It looks okay as the half moon, but to cover the full nail it's pretty pants.
Base Coat: CND - Stickey Base Colour - No7 - So Simple (3 coats) |

When I got these I thought the largest end would be much larger (not that it needs to be) and that I'd have more of a range in sizes. But looking closely at the pic of all the sizes below, I do have quite a range. These were such a bargain too, costing me £1.06 and free postage, if anyone would like a linky link. let me know :]
And another pic of the end result :]
I love my dotting tools! I have the same ones :)
ReplyDeleteI have that same set of dotting tools-so obviously I'm the dot failure not the tools!!!!
ReplyDeletelooks realy pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love this half-moon mani. It's very much like Ditta Von Teese's artificial nails. You did such a good job with the whole mani.

ReplyDelete@ Color Beam: For perfect dots using my left hand I'm rubbish, but for this, I kind of held it in my fist lol, and tried to do it slowly ^_^
