Hi all! Hope you've enjoyed some nice time off from school or work.
I've had a week off from blogging, and while I've enjoyed having time to relax, and family to distract me from missing certain people, I'm so far behind with reading other blogs that It may take me weeks! That being said; I'm not back in work until Wednesday and so I'm going to try and take today, and a (probably) hungover Tuesday to catch up and get some posts scheduled for the coming week.
Today though I have some nails for you that were inspired by the lovely Sarah over at Spellbinding Nails I was doing my friends nails a couple of weeks back, and was needing some inspiration, so I hit up Google images and fell in love with these.
Here's my nails:
Hope you guys like these, I certainly did when I nabbed the idea from Sarah :D

Stripes & Roses
So just a little post today, It's been a bit blah and overcast the past couple of days so I felt like wearing some grey :]

Base Coat: Nail RX - Stuck On You/ Base Colour: Beauty UK - Soft Grey Stamping Colours: Models Own - Purple Blue BYS - Black Satin Stamping Plates: BM20 & BM14 Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1 |
I took sooo many photos of this mani in an attempt to get a pic of the slight shift in the stripes, but it was such a pain in the butt I gave up! I do love how the flecks that are in Purple Blue give the stripes a bit of texture.
I hope everyone's having a good Thursday!

Stars - We Stamp On Sundays
Time for my second stamping challenge from Adventures In Stamping. This week's theme was stars, and at first I didn't really know what to do, what plates to use, what colours. It was a rather sunny day, so I decided on white, and Tie-Dye stars, using large stars, and some small stars to fill up some of the empty spaces.

Plates used, Sorry for the bad pic! |

Right hand; I think it colours worked out better here because I didn't use as much P2 - Passion |
Turned out alright I think :D! I think I made a mistake using P2 - Passion next to Collection 2000 - Bongo Beat, as It looks quite red. Maybe It was just because the opacity was different.
Anyhoo! Happy Sunday and I hope you enjoyed this mani :]

Half Moon & Holly
These are actually similar to what I wore last Christmas; on the day. Although it wasn't a half moon mani, it was just Sally Hansen - White On, with Maybelline - Ice Princess, and the holly stamped, with.. who knows; cause that's a long time ago :P

Just to show why I'm ever faithful to this glitter for my micro glitter needs xD |
So I started with two coats of Rimmel - French Rose, and used hole reinforcement stickers to create the half moon shape when French Rose was dry. Then I painted Sally Hansen - White On, and removed the stickers while the polish was still wet. Next a coat of Maybelline Colorama - Ice Princess, and when that was dry I stamped the Holly using Bundle Monster plate BM14, and George - Meteorite, & Rimmel - Celebrity Bash. Originally I was going to paint the half moon line with my Gold Citadel Paint but now I'm glad I couldn't find it, as I think it might have looked god awful :P So I used China Glaze - Millennium, and finished with my usual top coat.

Barry M Grey & Blue Chrome Snowflakes
I love wearing snow flakes on my nails, and this is actually something I wore last year around this time before I started this blog. So it was nice recreating a look, super simple to acheive too.
