Nailtopia - Zombie Doll Nail Stickers

Hi all

Friday - Yeeeee!

Now, these are some of the photos I was bummed about "losing" from my laptop, but looking on another memory card I found them. I was mainly bummed cause I really wanted to post these prior to Halloween, as now you can't even buy them anymore.
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Essie - Navigate Her & Catrice - Shake it! Flake It!
Nail Stickers: Nailtopia - Zombie Doll
Top Coat: Nailtopia Top Coat
And here's the sheet of nail stickers:

My other hand had different stickers on also, was really cute but I can't take photos of my right hand for shit!

Hope you all have a good weekend!

Over A Lilac Base - We Stamp On Sundays

Hi all, happy Sunday! Happy bank holiday weekend to my UK peeps. It doesn't make much of a difference to me as I've not been working Mondays for the last month. Still the weather is pretty nice out, so I'm going to grab an hour lazing in the sun reading :D

This week I've actually made time for the challenge over at Adventures In Stamping and I'm hoping to keep this up as I've missed doing these weekly challenges.
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colours: Models Own - Utopia & Lilac Dream, Catrice - Dirty Berry
Stamping Colour: Miss Sporty - Raindrop
Image Plate: Bundle Monster BM313
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails
Here's the base before stamping:

I started with two coats of Utopia and then dabbed all the colours randomly onto a piece of sponge to create the subtle mix. I had hoped Raindrop would've stamped a little more opaque, but I like the colour combo anyways.

And here's what I used:
L-R, Models Own - Utopia, Lilac Dream (in China Glaze bottle), Catrice - Dirty Berry, Miss Sporty - Raindrop

Hope you've all had a good weekend so far :]

Spring Flowers - We Stamp On Sundays

Hi all.

Happy Monday, start to a four day week, four day weekend combo - I like! I always feel a little strange posting these on Mondays, but as it was getting so so late last night I decided to take advantage of the fact I can now set up posts in my lunch break!

This week's challenge over at Adventures In Stamping called for spring flowers. When I started these I didn't know what stamp I was going to use, or what colours, just that I wanted to stamp over a gradient. So I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome.

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Rimmel - White
Gradient Colours: Catrice - London, H&M - Make Me Blush, Revlon - Teak Rose
Stamp Colour: Sally Hansen Fairy Teal
Image Plate: Cheeky CH44
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails
 Two coats of white:

Then I sponged on the three colours at once, and did two coats of this, these pictures were taken without a top coat.
Here's what I used minus the stamping polish:

Hope you guys like these!

Back to work I go :(

Catrice London & BYS Black Satin Plaid

Hi all :]

Hope you've all had a good week. I'm so looking forward to tomorrow night (Thursday when I write this), going out for food and then drinks after work, yessaaah!

So today we have some nails I did back in the start of December when the sun was out one day. The base is Catrice - London, and it's stamped with Konad M60 in BYS - Black Satin.

Green Flakie Argyle

Hi all!

Quick post today, another mani from at least a month back now, this lack of daylight is starting to really annoy me! Also the flakies, and Diamond Drops looked so much better in proper sunlight, but there was literally not a sprinkle around when I had my camera near by.
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Kiko - 296 - Meadow Green
Flakies; Catrice - C04 - Shake It! Flakie It!
Rainbow Shards: Color Club - Diamond Drops
Stamp Colour: Konad Special White
Image Plate: Konad M60
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails

I probably could have done with two coats of Catrice - Shake It! Flake It! I would have used two if I wasn't going to add Color Club - Diamond Drops, and then stamp too.

So above is two coats of Kiko - Meadow Green. Not really much to say on this, the formula was amazing, which is a running theme with every single Kiko i've ever tried. The colour's glossy and bright and evens out on the nail so nicely.

That's all from me today! Happy Thursday :]

W7 - Lava Flow & Another Swap With Susana

Hi all! Happy Thursday!

I have a quick swatch of W7 - Lava flow today, I was intending to stamp over it, but when I had it on I really didn't know what I could do with it. I also have new swap goodies from Susana to show you!
W7 - Lava Flow & Rimmel - Matte Finish
This is two coats of Lava Flow, an off white, almost lilacy base with matte black glitter, and regular red glitter floating around. When I first seen this polish many months back (I bought this back in July!) I loved it, but I just didn't like it on me, and I wished the red glitter was also matte. Which is why I added a matte top coat too, and it helped a bit.  In all honesty I liked this a lot better in person, at arms length than I do in these photos.

And onto my lovely goodies from my most recent swap with the lovely Susana, loads of new goodies to try! I got these a couple of weeks back now, but I'm yet to try anything still! I'm so bad!
Very excited to try Violet Microglitter that's not even half the sparkle you can see in real life!

She also sent me some green tea, which is the nicest I've ever tried. I was going to wait to take a photo before trying it, but I really couldn't wait :P Thank you Susana!

What do you guys think of Lava Flow?

Invasion of.... - We Stamp On Sundays

Happy Sunday guys!

I've just went over 500 followers! how exciting :D! I have a prize and everything picked out for a giveaway, so hopefully that'll be posted by the end of the week :]

This week's Adventures In Stamping challenge was to let your imagination run wild, and create on "invasion" mani. Unfortunately I just haven't been too inspired or energetic recently regarding everything not just my nails, and I just settled on a mediocre idea that is cute, but not all crazy like i'd originally hoped.
Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Kiko - Cornflower
Sponged Colours: Catrice - London
NOPI - Loyalty To The Royal-ty
Stamping Colour: Konad Special White
Image Plate: Konad M27
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Advanced
And some swatch shots of the pretty Kiko - Cornflower that came to me in my second swap with Susana

For some reason I didn't take any photos of the sponging, but all i did was use the rough side of a kitchen sponge and a tiny bit of yellow, and then the soft side with the blue and tapped it on my tips & worked up to about half way.

Here's what I used:

And that's them! Hardly an invasion, but I've wanted to use this plate for quite a while now, so I did :P

George - Lavender & Catrice - Genius In The Bottle

When I first got Catrice - Genius In The Bottle I was quite intrigued to try it out stamped over black, and I did a quick test on one nail and loved it, but I went rummaging for a polish I hadn't used in ages, or hadn't shown here yet, and I came across George - Lavender, and just thought 'why not?' So, it’s an odd combo that popped more in real life, but I liked wearing this anyways.
Base coat: La Femme
Base Colour: George - Lavender
Stamping Colour: Catrice - Genius In The Bottle
Image Plate: Born Pretty Store M71
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1

This purple was one of those colours I bought before I got totally obsessed with the nail world. Where my mani's consisted of pressed on glitter, marker pen doodling’s, and tape mani's. It went unused for around three years because with first use it was sheer, and I thought it would take loads of coats to become opaque. Turns out it was my polish skills. When I tried it last week for this mani it was a perfect 2 coats, with a squishy shiny finish. :]

I wonder how many other polishes are getting neglected because of my previous experience with them. I hope everyone's having a good Thursday :] I'll be at work again when this is posted, probably hoping for it to be Friday evening =P

Precious Stone - We Stamp On Sundays

I honestly had no idea what to do for this challenge, I debated using Revlon - Emerald Green, but then I had no idea what do stamp, so in the end I settled on my other only remotely good idea I had; Tiger's Eye. Although It's only a semi precious gemstone It's all I had to work with :P
Base Coat: La Femme
Base Colour: Catrice - Genius In A Bottle
Other Colours: Rimmel - Hard Edged
                        W7 - Gold Mirror
                        W7- Suede
                        Barry M - Gold Foil
Stamping Colour: BYS - Black Satin
Image Plate: Konad M57
Top Coat: Rimmel - 60 Second Clear
I started with a base of Catrice - Genious In A Bottle, and added lines of the other darker polishes, dry brushed on some golds, and striped on some more gold, and some more dark colours, wasn't really a method to this one, I did a top coat and stamped, then added a top coat again.
Here's what I used:

And for those of you that don't know about Tiger's Eye here's a picture :]

Catrice - Genius In The Bottle

Quick swatch for you guys today! Catrice - Genius In The Bottle is a dupe-ish for Chanel - Peridot, I say dupe-ish because comparisons I've seen It's not totally spot on. That being said, it is totally close enough for me as It's a gorgeous polish. I won this from Ingie over at fyeahilovenails.

Genius In The Bottle is a golden green, which can flash blue at certain angles (not really pictured sorry :P) but this is a very, very pretty polish. This is three thin coats, no base coat, no top coat. :]

Happy Thursday!

Catrice Dirty Berry & Black Swirls

Hey hey hey! Today I have a polish that I won from Ingie over at fyeahilovenails, and I've stamped over it using the plate that I won from Dashica Beauty.

Now just before I got wind of the fact I'd won Ingie's giveaway I had seen quite a few posts with Catrice - Dirty Berry, and I really loved it, so when I realised I'd won it; I was very excited :P Downside though it's such a bitch to photograph :P This is my first real holo polish, it's not a linear holo, but its damn pretty. It also applies like liquid bliss, so smooth, the coverage is great, it's not thick; it's just perfect!

 Catrice - Dirty Berry - 2 coats.

Base Coat: CND - Stickey
Base Colour: Catrice - Dirty Berry
Stamp Colour: BYS - Black Satin
Image Plate: Dashica Big SpD-A
Top Coat: Models Own - 3 In 1

These were really fun to wear, I feel like I should have changed the image placement up a bit, maybe using the smaller version of the same design on my ring fingers or something. Anyhooo I hope everyone's having  a decent Tuesday. I'm just looking forward to this week being over!
